ISLAMABAD – A shocking incident was reported from Pakpattan where a teenager girl was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted by a group of robbers while the victim was with her family members, including her uncle, aunt, and cousin, when they were ambushed by the robbers.

Details shared by the family members said the incident occurred on Sunday night when the family was returning to Bahawalnagar from a visit to Pakpattan. The robbers, who were armed with guns, stopped the family’s car near Malik Rahmoo village and snatched their belongings.

The bandits forcibly took to a nearby field, where they raped her while holding her family members hostage. The incident lasted for nearly an hour, with girl being sexually assaulted for 35 minutes.

Cops rushed to the site after family reported incident to the authorities while victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment and counseling.

Local law enforcers launched an investigation into the incident and have formed a special team to track down the suspects. The police have also collected evidence from the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the robbers.

The family of the victim has demanded justice and has urged the police to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book. The family has also appealed for public support in this matter.

Meanwhile, cops and local administration assured action against the perpetrators and promised to provide all necessary assistance to the family of the victim.

The girl is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital and is said to be in a stable condition. The police are working to ensure that she receives all necessary medical attention and support.
