The winner will be announced in a ceremony that starts at 10am UK time (11am CEST)
We will learn the name of the winner today, but the official award-giving ceremony only will be in December – on 10 December, to be precise, the day of Nobel’s death.
That’s been the tradition since the first Nobel Prize was awarded in 1901.
