EU leaders will voice dismay over Donald Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel.
“This kind of help came from Nato and we still have Nato ships on the sea guarding our critical infrastructure. So, [based] on that I must say that Nato is working well and the US is a partner in Nato. And Trump has assured us and everybody else last time in Ankara that he is following Nato and also Article 5 [on collective defence]. So we rely on them – and also sometimes even good friends need a reminder what is right.”
