The trip, which follows a Thursday Israeli war cabinet meeting to discuss hostage deal negotiations, signals a resumption of efforts to broker a deal after months of failed talks. National Security adviser Jake Sullivan told MSNBC Friday there was “new momentum, new life” to the hostage and cease-fire talks.
