Hong Kong court sentences Tiananmen vigil activists to between 5 and 7 years in jail

Three activists who had held annual vigils commemorating the Tiananmen Square crackdown were sentenced to between five and seven years in prison Friday for calling for an “end to one-party dictatorship”. Prosecutors had argued that China’s constitution enshrines the primacy of the Communist Party.
