Journalists for CNN, MS Now and Politico allowed back into the White House after judge’s ruling
The outlets had requested an emergency hearing after the White House initially seemed to flout a judge’s order
Journalists for CNN, MS Now and Politico were finally granted access to the White House on Thursday afternoon, many hours after a federal judge had ruled that the Trump administration must allow them back in after imposing a ban.
Earlier attempts by the journalists to enter the building had been unsuccessful, and lawyers representing the three organizations had told a judge that the White House has already “repeatedly violated” his overnight order requiring the Trump administration to return the press badges of journalists from the three news organizations.
